1,500 dolphins appear off the US

Monterey Bay Whale Watch employees, a company specializing in whale tour, recording “super flock” of Risso dolphins (Grampus griseus) Rinking at Carmel Bay, California, at the end of last month, Smithsonian On 10/2 reported. Although not considered an endangered or threatened species, Risso dolphins still face many dangers, including caught in fishing equipment, underwater noise and pollution. They are also hunted for meat and oil in some parts of the world such as the Caribbean, Indonesia, Japan, Solomon Islands and Sri Lanka.
