First Playable 2025, in June in Florence the business event of video games in Italy

The Italian Video Game Awards, promoted by Iidea, represent a central moment of the event. Applications are open until March 24, 2025, through the official website. The prize aims to recognize Italian excellence in the sector, with seven categories in the race. An international jury will evaluate candidates for the “Best Italian Game”, “Best Italian Debut Game” categories, “Outstanding Art” and “Outstanding Experience”. The “Outstanding individual contribution” categories, “Outstanding Italian Company” and “Community Spotlight Award” will instead be voted internally by industry. First Playable will also be an opportunity to present the finalist projects of the national contest “Italian Game 2025”, promoted by the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy in collaboration with Invitalia and Iidea. The winner will be announced during the Italian Video Game Awards ceremony.

The event will also offer the opportunity to get to know the courses and free workshops proposed by the Tuscany System Foundation – Toscana Film Commission, as part of the Regional European Social Fund program Plus 2021–2027. To participate in First Playable 2025, two types of tickets reserved for Italian operators in the sector are available: “Developer Full Access” and “Developer Social Access”. Both tickets allow access to the event days, the award ceremony and the networking area. The “Developer Full Access” ticket also includes access to the meeting area and the possibility of fixing meetings via the matchmaking Meet to match matchmaking platform.
