Focus on Resistance, photography IA and performance

In the photographic field, the Reno13 series introduces features based on artificial intelligence, such as Livephoto and Editor. These technologies are designed to improve the quality of the images and offer advanced editing options directly on the smartphone. The ability to take underwater photos is also mentioned, thanks to the water resistance of the devices. The launch event also saw the presentation of the brand new slogan, “Make Your Moment”, which reflects the intention of Oppo to align with a vision focused on user experience. Billy Zhang, president of marketing, sales and Oppo overseas and services, reiterated the importance of the European market for the company, underlining the intention of continuing to offer technologies to and design options in line with the needs of users.

The design of the Reno13 series, inspired by the butterflies wings, declines in different colors. Oppo has collaborated with the Italian designer Davide Vavalà for the creation of two exclusive covers, called “Chromatic Dreams” and “Metamorphosis”. The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G models have a sculpted glass rear body and a aerospace aluminum frame, characteristics that aim to balance lightness and resistance. The OLED 1.5K displays with 120Hz refresh rate, present on the PRO and standard models, offer a visual experience that OPPO defines immersive, with reduced frames and HDR10+ certifications and Amazon and Netflix HD content.

The photographic features to the Livephoto for dynamic images include motion to transform static photos into short videos, and editing tools such as clarity enhancer, unblur and reflexing remover. The main camera of the Rhine13 Pro 5G is 50mp (Sony IMX890), accompanied by a 50mp telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera. Ultra Clear 4K video recording is supported by both Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G. The Reno13 series also introduces tools to productivity, such as the Documents app and Assistant for Notes, integrated with Toolbox 2.0 for spelling corrections, translations and text suggestions.

Water resistance (IP66/IP68/IP69 certifications) allows you to use devices for underwater photography without additional cases, thanks to a dedicated mode (“Underwater Mode”) and a water drainage system. As for performance, the Rhine13 Pro 5G and the Reno13 5G are equipped with a personalized mediatek 8350 mobile 8350 mobile platform, which promises an increase in performance and greater energy efficiency. A coaching system cooling system, with an enlarged Vapor Chamber, is designed to manage the temperature during prolonged game sessions.

At LinkBoost 2.0, with eleven antennas, it aims to improve connectivity in complex environments. 5,800mAh batteries (Reno13 Pro 5G) and 5.600mAh (Reno13 5G) support the rapid charging OPPO 80W Supervooc.
