Lenovo He has presented several concept tests, aimed at optimizing the user experience and sustainability, among which are a solution called Lenovo Yoga Solar PCwhich has a solar panel that converts the sunlight into energy and offers an autonomy of one hour with only 20 minutes of load.
The company has advanced these solutions within the framework of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, where new Yoga series teams and the last two members of the Aura Edition Family, Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga Pro 7i have also announced.
Among some of the most outstanding products of this set of concept tests is the Lenovo Yoga Solar PC Concept, which has been designed “for users to convert any space, both interior and outdoors, in a productive workplace”, as advanced in a press release.
This device, which has a weight of 1.22 kg and a 15 mm thickness, seeks to cover the gap between environmental functionality and consciousness and represents the vision of a future of a future in which renewable energy and innovation are connected intrinsically.
In this way, this device incorporates a solar panel with a conversion rate of more than 24 percent, which is obtained by taking advantage of the technology of famous with contact to the back (Back Contact Cell), which moves the assembly and grid supports to the rear of the solar cells, to maximize active absorption.
The Dynamic Solar Tracking system continuously measures the current and voltage of the solar panel, working in parallel with the solar-first energy system to automatically adjust the load settings and prioritize the sending of the energy collected to the system, thus contributing to guarantee a maximum saving of energy and stability.
The brand has also confirmed that this panel can generate food and energy even in low light conditions, as well as load the battery when the PC is at rest. In this way, it can absorb and convert enough direct sunlight in 20 minutes to play a one -hour video on the PC.
This concept is complemented with another test of the concept of solar food for yoga, which uses the monitoring of a maximum power point (Maximum Power Point Tracking or MPPT) to optimize the conversion of solar energy and take advantage of the energy of each captured sun ray.
This solution has a USB-C withdrawal solar panel, which can be adapted to balls, backpacks, tents or trees, the external battery can be charged anywhere with sunlight that the panel can capture.
Likewise, the brand has presented another proof of concept that takes advantage of the AI to optimize the user experience, thanks to a integrated neuronal processing unit (NPU). The DNPU, therefore, improves the abilities of the monitor and gives the PCs without integrated with the computer capacity of this technology.
With this screen, therefore, the PCs without IA will be able to use large language models (LLM), receive user instructions, analyze and recognize their nations and allow the assistant to execute requests. Also, this panel adapts to user movements, rotating, raising and tilting the panel automatically to optimize the angle.
Finally, the brand has announced Lenovo AI Stick, another proof of concept that allows PC users who are not equipped with an NPU access to advanced AI functions, such as large local language models and graphic applications improved by their device.
To do this, this solution integrates a 32 tops NPU, which connects to the PC through a USB-C Tunderbolt port, allowing the PC to take advantage of Lenovo Ai Now functions. It can also be connected to a wall plug, to obtain maximum performance in complex tasks.
All these solutions are joined to others presented by the brand in the meeting in Barcelona, where Thinkbook Flip Ai PC Concept, designed for the business secor, a ring for browsing through GESOS control (AI Ring) and a 3D curved monitor, and a 3D curved monitor.
