Life Reality Technology: Apple Association indicates 25 years of founding

The Apple Association indicates a breakthrough activity this month in reducing the digital gap in Israel. During a quarter of a century, the association provided technological tools for over a million Israelis – from rehabilitating rehabilitative business following the war to veteran citizens who learn how to manage their lives online. The association operates in dozens of locations from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, among all sectors of Israeli society. In the age of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, an apple aims to ensure that no Israeli will remain behind, with dedicated training and collaborations with leading high -tech companies and local authorities.

Since 2000, Apple Association has been working to reduce digital gaps in Israel. At the beginning, only 10% of the periphery residents used the computer regularly. Today, the Internet use rate among adults has risen to 79%, the proportion of technological professions in the periphery increased to 18%, and in Arab society, the percentage of digital skills increased to 68%. Over the years, Apple has trained a million participants, has established dozens of training and knowledge centers, and has cooperated with more than 100 leading companies in the economy and dozens of local authorities. “After 150 reserve days, an apple’s ‘Warming’ Warfare course was a light point. Natasha Norkel (63) from her room adds: “I have finally been able to make an appointment for a doctor from home without waiting for hours on the phone.”

“Looking back, I see not only technological achievements but a significant social change,” says Leon Recanati, president and founder of the association. “Apple continues to bridge social and employment gaps.” Anat Tzur, CEO of the association, adds: “Every day I witness the extraordinary work to empower individuals and communities and commitment to a more equitable and advanced society.”
