Anthropic has incorporated the ability to search the web in its model of artificial intelligence (AI) Claude 3.7 Sonnet, which now has access to the most recent information and events, in addition to processing relevant sources in a conversational format.
The company presented this hybrid reasoning model at the end of February, when it pointed out that Claude 3.7 Sonnet was able to offer “almost instant” responses or results elaborated with extended thought.
Claude 3.7 Sonnet, the brand’s most intelligent AI model to date, also presents improvements in areas such as coding and web development ‘Front-End’. It is also able to reflect before responding and improves its performance in mathematical and physical consultations, with respect to Claude 3.5 Sonnet.
Anthropic has announced that Claude 3.7 Sonnet can search the Internet and get more updated and relevant responses. Thanks to this capacity, the model “has access to the most recent events and information, which improves its precision in the tasks that benefit from the most recent data.”
The company has explained in a statement that now Claude incorporates web information in its answers and provides direct appointments so that users can easily verify the sources. It also processes and offers relevant sources in a conversational format.
Thanks to these capabilities, researchers will be able to prepare proposals for more solid bibliographic reviews and reviews, detecting emerging trends, while users can compare characteristics of products, prices and reviews in multiple sources to make informed decisions before executing their purchases.
The web search is now available in a preliminary version for all Claude payment users in the United States. Soon, it will expand its compatibility with the users of the free version of the model and reach more countries.
