Microsoft announces Copilot agents for artificial intelligence in emergencies

A year ago, Microsoft introduced Security Copilot, a chatbot based on artificial intelligence designed for the cybersecurity sector. Today, the company announces an important expansion of this platform, introducing agents designed to operate independently and lighten the workload of the safety teams, often overload. Microsoft has presented six new agents developed internally, which will be previewed next month. These agents are designed to carry out specific tasks, including: Triage and Alert Management: Automatic processing of warnings relating to phishing and data loss; horioritization of accidents: identification and classification of critical events; Vulnerability monitoring: continuous analysis in search of weak points in systems.

“The six Agents of Microsoft Security Copilot allow teams to independently manage security and IT volume IT activities, perfectly integrating with Microsoft Security solutions,” says Vasu Jakkal, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Security. In addition, Microsoft has collaborated with strategic partners such as OneTrust, Aviatrix, Bluevoyant, Tanium and Flex to develop five additional agents. These extensions will allow, for example, to analyze data violations with OneTrust or to perform in -depth analyzes of the causes of network interruptions with Aviatrix. The adoption of IA agents represents a rapid rise in the technological sector. Companies such as Microsoft are focusing on these solutions to offer advanced tools to businesses, as evidenced by the recent relaunch of Copilot for Business, which includes free chat features and consumption agents.

In addition to the news relating to Security Copilot, Microsoft announces a significant improvement in the protection against phishing within Microsoft Teams. Starting next month, Microsoft Defender for Office 365 will extend its defense skills to Teams, offering greater protection against URL and harmful attachments. Microsoft has further ads regarding security, both for specific sectors and on the occasion of the Microsoft Secure event of April 9.
