The units of Vietnam, along with the Group of Austria, concentrated three main pillars, including key research and development of technology, human resource training, and implementation of semiconductor technology testing projects.
On March 26, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment and the National Assembly Le Quang Huy and the Mission of the Ministry of Science and Technology were headed by Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong witnessed the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Information Technology Industry Department and the Institute of Post and Telecommunications Technology (PTit) and EVGroup. This is the world’s leading corporation in wafer linking technology for 3D chips and sensors, specializing in providing equipment for semiconductor production.
The two sides agreed to promote the research and development program (R&D) for key technologies such as making nano, 3D packaging and mems (Micro-Nectro-Mechanical Systems-are the integrated systems between mechanics and electronics including devices such as sensors, transmission and compact mechanical components made of microchip technology.).
Regarding training, Vietnamese units and Austria and in -depth program design for students, engineers and researchers to improve the professional qualifications in the field of semiconductors.
The two sides will implement production and testing projects together to bring Vietnam closer to building a modern semiconductor manufacturing industry.
