With the announcement of F1 25, EA Sports officially inaugurates a new era for the My Team mode, introducing the first study dedicated to the completely renewed version: My Team 2.0. This update marks an important evolutionary step for one of the most appreciated modalities of the series, offering a more realistic and strategic vision of the role of owner of a Formula 1 team. In My Team 2.0, the management concept takes on a deeper meaning. It is no longer just about alternating between the role of pilot and manager, but of immersing yourself in a real management experience, which requires strategic skills, decision -making skills and a long -term vision. The goal is to build, direct and grow a team, while managing the dynamics between the two pilots, the operational structures and the economic sustainability of the stable. Before going on the track, in fact, it is necessary to make ponderate choices, from the selection of pilots to the planning of technical development.

One of the most relevant innovations is the introduction of three fundamental structures that articulate the internal management of the team. The engineering sector now allows you to separate research activities from development activities, offering greater freedom in optimizing vehicle performance. The technical decisions are influenced not only by economic and timing considerations, but also by the relationship with the pilots, which can affect the future contractual negotiations. The area dedicated to staff instead introduces a dynamic system for negotiation of contracts, making each interaction with the pilots potentially influential on the reputation of the team. Direct interviews can generate advantages, but also risks, as escapes that could compromise ongoing negotiations. The balancing of the staff is also crucial: a wider staff allows a faster development of the structures, but involves increasing costs that, if not correctly managed, can exceed the limits imposed.

Finally, the corporate structure centralizes the financial strategy and visual identity of the team. Resources must be carefully allocated to avoid seasonal deficit, while a new decal editor allows you to customize the aesthetic of the livery and strengthen the stable brand. The updated system of the sponsors also allows you to build lasting relationships with the main financiers, with long -term benefits. At the same time, My Team 2.0 introduces a completely renewed headquarters. This environment evolves dynamically based on the progress of the team, visually reflecting the expansion of structures and reputation. The development of the headquarters, as well as the formation of the staff, represents a fundamental strategic element for the growth of the team.

The progression system has also been revised. The awards are back, the Accolades, already introduced in the pilot career mode, which now contribute to determining the perception of the team by the public and to open new sponsorship opportunities. Achieving objectives and overcoming rivals also allows you to access more prestigious pilots. Among the other innovations, F1 25 expands the possibilities offered in the pilot career and My Team modes by introducing the possibility, for the first time, that even the teams managed by artificial intelligence can hire iconic drivers. In addition, the option is added to include a eleventh team on the starting grid: the Braking Point Konnersport, or, for those who buy the Iconic Edition by 11 July, the APXGP, protagonist of the F1 film produced by Apple Original Films.
