ANGI Observatory: the hub of talent mobility
Exclusively, the conference anticipated some relevant data from the Observatory on Business and Innovation in Italy 2025, whose official presentation is expected on December 3rd. The theme of ““brain drain” is confirmed as central, with 58% of young people interviewed still considering it a problem for the country. However, the data appears polarized, with 42% of the sample does not consider it an absolute priority, suggesting a potential evolution towards a more global vision of the labor market.
For those who want to stay or return, the solutions required are clear and are based on three fundamental levers:
Experience 41%: Field practice is seen as the main antidote.
Merit 37%: the demand for transparent meritocratic systems.
Training 22%: continuous updating as a basis for professional stability.
Prof. Baldassari, Director of the ANGI Scientific Committee, commented on the results: “The data highlights how the issue is not just retaining talent, but creating the conditions so that experience and merit are recognised. Young people are asking for an ecosystem that allows them to ‘do’, overcoming theoretical barriers.“The final appointment is set for December 3 for the 2025 Innovation Oscars award ceremony.
