Google ha Limited imaging capabilities with new Nano Banana model Pro for users using the free service, who will now only be able to generate two images per day due to the “great demand” that the model is experiencing, which can cause performance or saturation issues.
The technology company presented the evolution of Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, popularly known as Nano Banana, on November 20, with the new model Gemini 3 Pro Image as a baseso it boosts image editing with new light and camera controls, as well as allowing you to generate drafts from multiple images and render text.
In this way, the advancements of Nano Banana Pro allow users to create images from explanations, infographics and diagrams, posters, comics or recipes in a more realistic and precise waythanks to the fact that it has a greater knowledge of the world by being able to connect to the Search Engine, and a greater ability to render text accurately.
This model was released free of charge for users, who could create up to three images a day con Gemini 3 Pro Image. However, now Google has updated the Imaging model access limits due to ‘high demand’ experienced, which can hinder the capabilities of the service.

Likewise, Google also introduced some additional generation limits in NotebookLM for users subscribed to the Pro version, although it detailed that they work in “get back to normal as soon as possible.”
