Nothing has announced the arrival of his new ‘smartphone’ Community Edition which will be announced soon and, on this occasion, will be inspired by the gaming worldwith the Game Boy and PlayStation consoles as a base and a transparent design.
‘The Community Edition’ is a technology initiative to present a co-creation devicein which brand followers participate who work alongside the Nothing team to design from hardware to wallpapers from a ‘smartphone’, through ‘packaging’ and marketing.
Under this project, the company already launched last year the Community Edition version of your ‘smartphone’ Phone (2a) Morewhich includes elements that glow in the dark and of which only a thousand units were put on sale.
Now, Nothing has announced that its next ‘smartphone’ Community Edition 2025 will arrive soona new model that will be inspired by the gaming sectorwith references such as Nintendo’s Game Boy console and Sony’s original PlayStation.
This was detailed by the company in a post on Instagram, where it shared an explanatory video about the new smartphone, in which the winner in the Marketing category of this year’s project, Sushruta Sarkar, appears.
In the video, Sarkar shows design tests of the device, where a Game Boy console appears transparent, in addition to the memory card from a PlayStation 1, also with a clear plastic designwhich may indicate what style the smartphone will offer.
Likewise, the company has also shared it in a publication on the social network Nothing Phone lens assembly (3a), so it is expected that this will be the model chosen for this year’s Community Edition.
In addition, there are also numbers ‘0912’, what is expected to be presentation date of this new ‘smartphone’, which would take place next Tuesday, December 9, although Nothing has not confirmed when it will be shown to users.
