AIR SNES is a custom Air Max 90 shoe with a Raspberry Pi Zero W plate housed in the tongue that can be connected to a television with RCA cables to play Super Mario World on the big screen.
It is a project designed by Bonzanini in which he has decided to combine two icons from the 90s to celebrate the launch of SNES in Japan, the Japanese firm’s third home console, which hit the market in Japan on November 21, 1990.
The shoe-console is fully functional, and offers an autonomy of up to 30 minutes with the integrated battery, according to Engadget. It works with the RetroPie emulator and uses with an original controller adapted to connect wirelessly.
