The Tech Awards 2025 Preliminary Round attracted great attention from readers, creating a fierce race in each category after a week of opening the gate.
The Preliminary Round takes place from November 20 to December 8. After the first week, the most exciting categories are Technology Content Creators, Most Popular Technology Retail Brands and Excellent Household Brands. The two brands receiving the most votes are Xanh SM and FPT Shop.
In the Preliminary round, each reader can vote in many categories, but can only vote for free once in a category. The number of votes will be displayed publicly, before being hidden on December 6 to keep the results confidential.
The Top 5 nominations receiving the most reviews will continue to enter the Final round, taking place from December 11.

The preliminary list was selected by the organizing committee from more than 200 applications submitted in the nomination round, based on the following criteria: Product launched in 2025, genuine distribution in the Vietnamese market; integrating new, outstanding technology, demonstrating technology trends in 2025 and forecasting development trends in 2026. As for the Application and Brand categories, the program does not apply launch time criteria, but focuses on the mark achieved in 2025.
After finishing the Preliminary round, Tech Awards 2025 will begin the Final round on December 11-31 and the Award Ceremony is expected to be held on January 8, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Tech Awards 2025 has 16 categories, divided into 4 content groups including Applications (3 categories), Devices (6 categories), Brands (6 categories) and a separate category for Content Creators specializing in technology.
This year’s program adds the Potential Technology Content Creator category for the first time. In the digital era, individuals who share knowledge, experience and evaluate technology have a great influence on consumer decisions, so the organizers said there should be a separate award to recognize their contributions.
Another new feature of the Tech Awards is that for the first time, businesses are allowed to proactively submit product and application nominations from the end of September.
Tech Awards is an annual voting program of VnExpress from 2012, for prominent technology brands and genuine technology products sold during the year in the Vietnamese market.
