Samsung launched its first triple folding phone this Tuesday, a special edition product with a high cost that leaves it out of reach of the average consumer.
The Galaxy Z TriFold will go on sale on December 12 at a price of $2,443, double that of the new iPhone 17.

The ultra-slim device unfolds to a 10-inch screen, with “expanded creation and work possibilities,” the South Korean tech giant said at the launch.
The triple folding function had already been presented last year by the Chinese company Huawei, in a phone also with an exorbitant price.
Samsung’s new device weighs 309 grams and at its thinnest point measures half a centimeter.
