New Proton Sheets Spreadsheet Service Offers Real-Time Collaboration and End-to-End Encryption

Proton has launched a new spreadsheet service Proton Sheets, offering real-time collaboration features with other users, in addition to its tools’ characteristic end-to-end encryption.

The company has added this option to its productivity suite in Proton Drive to offer companies an option to plan their budgets, manage inventories, monitor members and organize confidential data, all in a safe and secure way.

This is because Proton Sheets offers users all the functions of spreadsheets, in a service that also allows you to collaborate with other users, but always “without losing control of your data” as it is end-to-end encrypted, so neither Proton nor other third-party services can access the information in the spreadsheet.

Plus, it has project management features, with built-in formulas to perform analysis and convert raw data into easy-to-understand charts and tables. In the same way, it also allows you to import existing CSV or XLS files, to which end-to-end encryption is also applied, as detailed in a statement.

Proton has also detailed that users will be able to access this spreadsheet service from anywhere and on any device, as well as manage who can view or edit the document.

With all this, Proton Sheets is gradually beginning to be launched for all users globally, who will be able to find it from their Proton Drive account.
