According to what Virgilio Martínez told “El Comercio”, at Central Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez tried the tasting menu, which consists of 35 preparations. In addition, they visited the restaurant’s research center.

The couple would have arrived in Lima this weekend, as international media such as Daily Mail photographed them on December 5 leaving the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles, where Lauren Sánchez’s striking coat worth almost 10 thousand dollars caught the attention of the paparazzi and generated several articles in digital media.

But the businessman, through the Bezos Earth Fund, has allocated, as reported on his official website, millions to protect the Peruvian Amazon, finance conservation areas, support indigenous communities and restoration projects in the tropical Andes.
In 2022, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez traveled to Colombia to delve deeper into the effects of deforestation, within the framework of the Bezos Earth Fund’s $10 billion commitment. During their visit they visited the Chiribiquete National Park, the largest protected area in the country.
