Apple Fitness+ expands to 28 countries, including Peru

For those who are not familiar with Apple Fitness+, this is a streaming service that offers exercise videos of varying intensity by professionals in different disciplines, such as yoga, dance, kickboxing, Pilates and even meditation.

The service is particularly intended for Apple Watch users, by allowing its users to compare their own vital signs with other users of the service, giving the option to create personalized plans based on the users’ training and meditation preferences, such as their selection of main activities, durations, trainers, music and many more options.

The expansion of Apple Fitness+ will take place starting December 15 and makes the service available in a total of 49 countriesincluding countries in Latin America such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. It also reaches other countries around the globe such as Belgium, Finland, Iceland, India, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Vietnam. The company also announced an expansion into Japan early next year.

The expansion also comes with new versions of the digitally dubbed training videos. Thus, in addition to the original version in English, users will also have versions in Spanish, German and Japanese with voices that are based on the real voices of the trainers of the Fitness+ program.

It is not the only addition that has been made to the app, which will now include K-Pop songs to its catalog of exercise music that previously included genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin rhythms and more.

Apple Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and can be shared with up to five family members.
