Finland you can now see a comet in the sky even with the naked eye, tells astronomical association Ursa. According to the association, the best time to observe comet Lemmon is approximately from October 20th to November 5th.

The association says that the comet can be distinguished from the sky with the naked eye, but binoculars help in finding it.

According to Ursa, the comet can be seen almost equally well in southern and northern Finland. However, in the southern parts of the country, the comet is more easily visible in November.

Around October 20, the comet will be visible above the bright orange star Arcturus. The association advises that when spotting a comet, it is good to wait until the sky has darkened properly.

According to Ursa, Comet Lemmon last came close to the Sun 1,350 years ago.

In November, the comet passes the Sun, and its orbit changes slightly. The next time Lemmon will return to the inner parts of the solar system is about 1,150 years from now.
