CES 2026: Motorola presents its first folding device, the Motorola Razr Fold

Although the firm already had the Razr family, which consisted of ‘toad’ type folding equipment, which opens and closes vertically, it now integrates one whose deployment is horizontal, like a book.

The Motorola Razr Fold features a slim silhouette that feels comfortable in the hand, with its large 6.6-inch external display offering stick-style smartphone ease of use.

When opened, its slim profile unfolds. We find an immersive 8.1-inch 2K LTPO screen that becomes a large canvas to work, create and play. Flexible layouts, adaptable interfaces, and support for the Moto Pen Ultra stylus make multitasking natural and fluid.

It has AI functions integrated into the device, such as Catch me up and Next Move, which allows you to be organized, informed and always one step ahead.

Its camera system is designed to capture every moment with clarity, versatility and ease. Its 50 MP triple array1, which includes a main lens, an ultra wide angle/macro lens and a 3x periscope telephoto lens, delivers sharp details in any setting, whether users are photographing panoramic landscapes, dramatic close-ups or distant subjects.

It also has a 32MP external selfie camera that allows you to easily frame high-quality photos and videos with the device closed, while a 20MP internal camera keeps video calls and content capture sharp when the device is open. At its core is the powerful Sony LYTIA™ sensor, bringing brighter, richer images to every shot, and with Dolby Vision® recording and impressively stable video stabilization, users can elevate their memories with cinema-quality images that feel vivid, dynamic and authentic.
