Playstation and Nintendo have revealed new features in the color ranges to personalize the consoles PlayStation 5 (PS5) y Nintendo Switch 2in addition to its accessories.
Techno Red, Remix Green y Rhythm Blue These are the colors that Playstation has chosen for the new designs of the PS5 case and its DualSense wireless controllers. The call ‘hyperpop collection’ It mixes “bright black tones that transform into vibrant neons” with an aesthetic that completely breaks with the standard black and white of the console.
The design team has explained the new features of this collection in a statement on the Playstation blog. “A continuous gradient wraps the front and back of the DualSense, with a high-gloss finish that enhances the colors more than ever. The console covers also receive the same shine, with a subtle touch of transparency,” explains Sae Kobayashi. “It takes over the room,” emphasizes León Cardoso.
The ‘Hyperpop’ collection will be released next March 12 and reservations can be made from January 16. The new controllers will go on sale for a price of 84.99 euros, while the PS5 covers will have a price of 74.99 euros.

For its part, Nintendo has presented its first set of alternative colors for the Switch 2 Joy-Con, which include purple and teal shades, called Light Purple y Light Green. In this way, the company opts for pastel tones and breaks with the characteristic vibrant colors.
