Hisense’s “fourth color” and the largest microLED ever

However, the technological innovations developed over the last year are also starting to extend towards more accessible segments through the new UR9 and UR8 series. With cuts ranging from 55 to 100 inches, these models have been engineered for real home contexts, maintaining color stability even in brightly lit rooms or when watching fast-paced content such as gaming and sports live broadcasts.

Finally, at the top of the brand’s production is the 163MX, an impressive 163-inch MicroLED television which introduces the integration of a yellow sub-pixel in an RGBY configuration for the first time. This engineering choice aims to bridge the spectral gap between 500 and 600 nanometers, an area in which MicroLED technology has so far shown room for improvement. Through advanced management of luminance and color uniformity, the device is able to entirely cover the BT.2020 color space, consolidating the manufacturer’s role in the competition for technological supremacy in large panels intended for the premium market.
