Netflix announces the return of ONE PIECE: the Grand Route

New faces for Baroque Works

The second season introduces a host of opponents taken directly from the pages of Eiichiro Oda’s manga. The cast is enriched with important performers to give faces to the villains of Baroque Works: Charithra Chandran will take on the role of Miss Wednesday, while Lera Abova will be Miss All-Sunday. Other confirmed agents include David Dastmalchian (Mr. 3), Camrus Johnson (Mr. 5), Jazzara Jaslyn (Miss Valentine), Daniel Lasker (Mr. 9) and Sophia Anne Caruso (Miss Goldenweek).

These antagonists will clash with the historical protagonists of the series: Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Taz Skylar, Emily Rudd and Jacob Romero, ready to resume their roles in the journey to the legendary treasure.

A record-breaking adaptation

Produced by Tomorrow Studios in collaboration with Shueisha, the ONE PIECE live-action series has succeeded in transposing a work that has sold over 500 million copies into a globally successful television format. With 11 nominations at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards and almost 100 million views, the franchise remains a pillar of the platform.

This season’s narrative promises a deep exploration of the Grand Line, defined as “a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonders emerge from every corner“. In addition to the television component, the brand will continue to expand through immersive experiences in the Netflix House and dedicated merchandising, available on the Netflix Shop and at retailers such as LEGO.

While waiting for the debut set for March 10, 2026, Netflix has already guaranteed continuity to the project by officially confirming the renewal for a third season.
