Israeli innovation is on its way to Texas

The “Jerusalem Post” group, in cooperation with the “Texas-Israel Alliance” (TIA), announced the launch of the “Unicorn Rodeo”, a two-day international conference, which will be held in the city of Dallas, Texas, USA, on April 29-30, 2026. Under the title: “The Startup Nation Meets the Scale-Up Nation”, the conference will bring together government leaders from the USA and from Israel, investors and entrepreneurs, with the aim of bringing together innovation, capital, and leading political leaders, and to produce real economic results.

As the eighth largest economy in the world, Texas can be a significant platform for Israeli companies seeking to grow in the US. The Unicorn Rodeo conference is intended to be a first-of-its-kind bridge between Israel’s impressive innovation engine and the business system and strong economic growth that exists in Texas.

For the alliance’s current leadership, the Unicorn Rodeo advances a clear long-term mission. Tal Shmueli, partner at Texas Venture Partners and CEO of the Texas-Israel Alliance, said: “Thanks to its business environment and a strong alignment of values, Texas appears to be the preferred expansion destination for companies established in Israel. We are on the safe way to meet our goal – to bring 100 Israeli companies to the ‘Lone Star State’ during the next decade.”

The conference will focus on artificial intelligence (AI), health, energy and security. It will include a rich program of panels and keynote lectures with industry leaders from Israel and the US, as well as a festive reception, “reverse pitches” from Texan investors and a closing party.
