Institutional participation and the OpportunItaly program

The Italian presence was coordinated by ICE-Agenzia in collaboration with FederUnacoma, involving a community of nine leading companies (Annovi Reverberi, Bellon, Butti, Eurocardan, Ilgom Tubi, Imovilli Pompe, Rovatti A. & Figli Pompe, Sgariboldi and Simol).

One of the focal points of the national pavilion was OpportunItaly, the acceleration program promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The project aims to digitize and structure commercial connections through the OpportunItaly Buyers Cluba platform dedicated to international importers and distributors to encourage business matching in strategic Made in Italy sectors.

Analysis of the British market and export flows

The United Kingdom confirms itself as a destination of priority importance for the Italian agricultural machinery industry, showing a solidity that allows it to overcome the economic slowdown observed in the two-year period 2024-2025 in favor of projections that indicate a strong recovery in the medium term. In fact, for 2025 a market value of between 2.2 and 2.4 billion dollars is estimated, with a growth trajectory aiming for 3 billion dollars by 2030, driven by fundamental drivers such as precision agriculture, digitalisation and the development of low environmental impact solutions. In this scenario, Italy maintains a position of absolute strength, as demonstrated by the national export of the sector which in 2024 reached a total value of approximately 6.8 billion eurosa fact that underlines the profound technological competitiveness of Italian companies even in the face of particularly uncertain macroeconomic contexts.

Networking and future prospects: towards EIMA 2026

On January 14, the Italian pavilion hosted a technical press conference to present the innovations of the sector and promote EIMA International 2026, the world exhibition of agricultural mechanization to be held in Italy.

The event saw the participation of important institutional figures, including the First Secretary of the Italian Embassy in London Jonas Badde, the Consul of Manchester Gabriele Magagnin, the Director of ICE London Giovanni Sacchi and the Deputy Director General of FederUnacoma Fabio Ricci. The common objective is to accompany British agriculture towards a digital transition which requires increasingly efficient and interconnected machinery.
