Cybertech Global and IVC report: increase in capital raising in Israeli cyber

The data in the Cybertech Global and IVC report shows that cyber continues to lead Israeli high-tech. The capital raising of Israeli cyber companies broke an all-time record in 2025, reaching $8.27 billion. This is an increase of almost 110% compared to 2024, when capital was raised that amounted to 3.96 billion dollars. The capital raising record for cyber companies was in 2021, when cyber companies raised more than 7.5 billion dollars.

In 2025, the average fundraising for a deal in Israeli cyber was about $60 million, doubling compared to $29 million in 2024. The number of deals remained almost unchanged, with a slight increase from 136 deals in 2024 to 138 deals in 2025. Since the capital doubled but the amount of transactions remained similar, the trend indicates that in 2025 much larger sums were invested within a similar number of companies compared to the previous year.

The sums of the exits of Israeli cyber companies in 2025 amounted to approximately 72.6 billion dollars (including deals that were signed but not completed) a huge jump of more than 1500% compared to 4.4 billion dollars in 2024. Excluding the three biggest deals of the year – Wiz, Cyberark and Armis that were signed but not completed – there was actually a decrease in the amount of exits compared to last year, to about 2 billion dollars. The number of exits (not including the aforementioned three major transactions) increased from 27 in 2024 to 32 in 2025.

As of today there are 597 active cyber companies – an increase from 546 companies in 2024. Most of them are small companies (up to 20 employees) in the stages of first income (322 companies), and the rest are medium companies (up to 100 employees) – 185 companies, and large companies (over 100 employees) – 90 companies. The absolute majority of cyber companies focus on the software sector (92.8%). It is evident that the market is almost completely biased towards software solutions and organizational infrastructure, while the areas of hardware and chips remain on the margins.

Thousands from Israel and abroad are expected to participate in the Cybertech Global Tel Aviv 2026 event, including delegations from about 50 countries, senior officials in the local and global cyber industry, hundreds of first-class speakers in the various cyber fields, senior investors from a number of venture capital funds and central banks, prominent researchers and opinion leaders in the cyber world. At the same time as the main conference plenary and other special events, a rich exhibition of companies is also presented International leaders and innovative and ground-breaking startups.

Also expected to participate in the exhibition and the central plenary are founders, senior managers and cyber people from leading companies in the global and local ecosystem. In addition, the various events will be attended by senior investors from leading venture capital funds, including Team8, New Era, YL Ventures, Hetz Ventures, Merlin and more.
