While the success of the mass-market 3 and Y models continues to drive volumes, the luxury segment has shown signs of structural fatigue. The transition to robotics, however, comes at a time of strong financial pressure, with Tesla reporting a 61% drop in profits in the fourth quarter, making the bet on technological diversification a crucial step for the group’s future.
