There is: Someone bought two Bentleys and two Aston Martins in Croatia last month

Two Bentleys and two Aston Martins were registered in Croatia in January, according to data on new vehicles for the first month of the year. This “premium” detail catches the eye because it comes in a month in which the overall market has slowed down.

Namely, in January, 3,946 new passenger cars were registered, which is 11.5 percent less than in the same month last year. However, at the very top of the range, there is still a part of customers who go for luxury brands without much thought.

When you look at what was bought the most in the “mainstream”, the strongest were hybrids, of which 1,815 were sold, or 46 percent of total sales. There were 1,481 gasoline or 37.5 percent, diesel 451 or 11.4 percent, fully electric 145 or 3.7 percent, and gas 54 or 1.4 percent.

Among the brands, Škoda is first with 515 registrations, right behind is Volkswagen with 514, Toyota is third with 306, Suzuki is fourth with 258, and Opel is fifth with 209. The best-selling model of the month was the Volkswagen T Cross with 190 registrations, ahead of Škoda Octavia (163) and Suzuki Vitara (132).
