Gemini exceeds 750 million monthly active users

According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Gemini received great attention after the company launched Gemini 3 – its most advanced AI that provides feedback “with unprecedented levels of detail and nuance”. He emphasized that Gemini 3 is a “positive driver” for growth, and Google will continue to invest and improve the model to maintain momentum.

Gemini 3 was launched last November, introduced as “the smartest AI” that can read and understand multi-modality and understand many levels of meaning of commands. According to a Google representative, the new AI model builds advanced reasoning capabilities to grasp deep and subtle layers of meaning, including “recognizing very small hints in a creative idea”, or peeling off overlapping layers of a complex problem, helping users get satisfactory answers with fewer commands.

“The launch of Gemini 3 is an important milestone, creating strong development momentum,” Pichai said in the financial report. “The model now processes more than 10 billion tokens per minute. The search function is used more than ever.”

At the end of last year, Google also launched a lower-priced service package, AI Plus, for 7.99 USD/month (210,000 VND), aimed at users on a tight budget. “We are focusing on free packages, as well as subscription packages, which have grown strongly over time,” said Philipp Schindler, Google’s Chief Business Officer.

Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has just released financial reports with positive results. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company recorded revenue of 113.83 billion USD, an increase of 18% over the same period last year, more than the forecast of 111.4 billion USD from Wall Street. Profit reached 34.46 billion USD, an increase of nearly 30%. For the whole year 2025, Alphabet’s revenue exceeded the 400 billion USD mark for the first time with 402.84 billion USD, net profit reached 132.17 billion USD.
