“In Italy, traveling is more than simply moving: it is a real cultural ritual,” explains Jessica Chuang, head of marketing for the Chinese company in Italy. The insight is that more and more people use the photo as a personal language: “They want tell about their travels in an authentic, spontaneous and meaningful way.”

But the “travel” cut is also designed for those who move in everyday life: a smartphone designed to “accompany movement”, adapting to “different rhythms and contexts”.

Artificial intelligence made easy

Artificial intelligence chapter: the promise is to avoid technicalities. “Our approach is very simple: AI must be synonymous with simplicity,” says Chuang. The AI, they explain, works “discreetly and naturally”, adapting to light and environment in real time to balance exposure, contrasts and preserve natural colors.

Among the functions most focused on is AI Motion Popout: “it allows you to bring photos to life literally making the main elements ‘come out’ of the frame”, for a more dynamic and interactive result.

On the photographic sector, two pillars: ultra-wide selfies and canvases for portraits. The choice, here, is not to choose: “Italians love selfies but also portraits: they are two sides of the same coin” says Chuang.
