Record quarter for Lenovo, AI increasingly important

That between October and December 2025 was a new record-breaking quarter for the Lenovo group that saw top revenues ($22.2 billion, +18% per year), accelerating profitability and continuous expansion of AI-related revenues. Adjusted net profit also jumped, increasing by 36% on an annual basis to reach $589 million, with a margin that rose to 2.7%. AI – it is underlined – has become a growth engine of primary importance for the Group, with revenues linked to Artificial Intelligence increasing by 72% on an annual basis and equal to almost a third (32%) of the Group’s overall revenues, driven by strong demand in all areas: AI devices, infrastructure, services and solutions. Lenovo recalls how the group has strengthened its market leadership in the PC and Smart Devices sector, while record volumes and activations were recorded in the smartphone sector as well as revenues at all-time highs for both the Infrastructure Solutions Group and the Services and Solutions Group.

Furthermore, to respond to the demand for multi-year AI training and the long-term growth of AI inference, the Group explains that it has undertaken a strategic restructuring of its ISG business, with restructuring charges in the quarter amounting to $285 million.

In detail, the Intelligent Devices division reported overall revenue growth of 14% year-on-year to $15.8 billion, while maintaining industry-leading profitability despite industry-wide component shortages and rising costs. maintaining the highest calendar year PC market share in Lenovo history of 24.9%.
