Apple announces an event in March, new iPhones, iPads and MacBooks expected

Apple has chosen an unusual strategy for its next global announcement, scheduled for Wednesday, March 4. Instead of the traditional setting of Apple Park, the company will hold a “special experience” simultaneously in New York, London and Shanghai. The choice of the date does not appear to be random, as it overlaps with the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, as if to avoid media attention from the main European technology fair through a decentralized presentation with a global impact.

The official invitation, while maintaining the company’s usual confidentiality, offers some chromatic ideas through an Apple logo composed of yellow, green and blue segments. These shades recall the rumors circulating in recent months regarding the launch of an entry-level MacBook, designed to intercept a wider market segment. Despite the vague nature of the communication, analysts’ expectations point to a massive renewal of the entire hardware ecosystem, with particular attention to the laptop line and the iPad series.

According to the most accredited projections, the Mac catalog will receive significant updates which include new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, as well as new external displays. The protagonist of the event could be the economical laptop equipped with the A18 Pro chip, flanked by the debut of the iPhone 17e and an updated version of the iPad Air with the M4 processor. On the software front, there is growing anticipation for a first practical demonstration of the new version of Siri integrated with advanced artificial intelligence functions, a step considered crucial for the evolution of the Cupertino ecosystem.
