Peruvian fishing enters a new era driven by data and analytical intelligence

In a context of recovery and growth, the sector registered an expansion of close to 24.9% in 2024, driven mainly by the increase in anchovy catches and greater industrial activity. So far in 2025, the fishing GDP grew 29.1% in March, confirming its key role in the country’s economic reactivation.

This dynamism occurs in parallel with growing pressure to improve operational efficiency, strengthen sustainability and meet international traceability standards, especially in an increasingly demanding global market.
