200MP imaging for the mid-range

realme announces the arrival of the realme 16 Pro Series on the Italian market on March 17th. The new models, 16 Pro and 16 Pro+, aim to narrow the technological gap between mid-range devices and professional imaging tools through the integration of the 200MP LumaColor sensor. The hardware architecture has been designed to ensure natural color rendering and detailed texture capture, maintaining balanced lighting in different shooting conditions. The 16 Pro+ version is further distinguished by the inclusion of a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, a technical feature rarely found in this market segment.

The optical system is supported by a suite of FullFocal lenses covering focal lengths from 1x to 4x, optimized for portraiture. TÜV Rheinland certification promises accurate reproduction of skin tones and image depth that avoids the excess saturation typical of aggressive digital processing. Through the ProDepth algorithm, the devices manage the bokeh effect in a three-dimensional way, reproducing a background blur that imitates the behavior of traditional lenses, while preserving the sharpness of the main subject.

Artificial intelligence intervenes transversally in every phase of content production. The AI Master of Composition function analyzes the scene in real time to suggest optimal shots, while tools such as AI Photo Editor and AI Edit Genie allow you to modify backgrounds and styles through voice or text commands, keeping the naturalness of facial features intact.

For content creators, the AI Instant Clip system automates the editing of short videos, simplifying workflows for instant sharing. Completing the software offering is the Vibe Master Mode, which provides 21 customized color shades, and the AI LightMe technology, designed to simulate photography studio lighting effects directly during the shooting phase, confirming the series’ orientation towards advanced but accessible photography.
