The storage sector has also undergone significant evolution, with SSDs reaching read and write speeds of up to 14.5 GBps, doubling the performance of the previous generation. The unified memory allocation can now reach 128GB on the most advanced models, with a bandwidth of up to 614 GBps to support engineering simulations and intensive 3D rendering. These improvements come with a base storage capacity that now starts at 1TB for Pro configurations and 2TB for Max variants, eliminating bottlenecks for those working with high-resolution video files or massive data sets.
The user experience is supported by the Liquid Retina XDR display, now also available with a nanotexture option to reduce reflections, and by a battery that guarantees up to 24 hours of continuous operation. The hardware equipment also includes Thunderbolt 5 ports for fast data transfer, a 12MP Center Stage camera and a six-speaker immersive audio system. The macOS Tahoe operating system natively integrates Apple Intelligence functions, leveraging the power of the Neural Engine for automation and advanced analysis tasks. Available in space black and silver finishes, the new MacBook Pros can be ordered starting March 4, with the market arrival set for March 11.
