Lenovo reinforces its commitment to agentic AI in the business environment with Qira and its new ThinkPads

Lenovo has shared its commitment to agentic artificial intelligence (AI) for companies with the help of its assistant Qira to boost business productivity, which will be integrated into its range of professional devices, among which the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 and the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition stand out.

In a meeting with the press held this Thursday under the title ‘Think Update’, The technology company has made known in depth its latest news shared both during the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 and at CES at the beginning of the year, for the professional environment.

These new features focus on Lenovo’s philosophy of creating a future with “smarter AI for everyone.” Thus, its portfolio has solutions that “go from the pocket to the cloud”, offering “powerful, flexible and responsible” AI capabilities to “transform industries and empower people”, as detailed by the Product Manager at Lenovo Iberia, Juan José Marcilla.

These capabilities adapt to the needs of users both in their daily lives and in business environments. Proof of this is that they have consolidated themselves as the company leader in the sale of computers in Spain with a market share of 35.2 percent, but also in the sale of tablets, in which it reaches 32.5 percent, as they shared in their results for the third fiscal quarter.

In order to maintain this leadership, Lenovo is willing to face what it proposes as the “next business challenge”, which is agentic AI. As Marcilla has explained, this is because the interest in this technology by companies has grown by 52 percentbut 79 percent of organizations have not yet deployed agentic AI at scale and 39 percent say they need more than a year to be ready.

Faced with this, Lenovo offers solutions that allow its customers to prepare for agentic AI safely, aligning fundamental pillars in this area such as “infrastructure, governance and scalability”.

“Lenovo is prepared for this agentic AI model and we have solutions tested in different industries and for different uses, from improving customer service to internal help agents for sustainability matters,” Marcilla added.

Proof of this is the deployment of its Qira artificial intelligence agent which, announced at MWC 2026, will arrive first with the tablet Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, and stands out for being a personal intelligence designed to work on all the company’s devices in a connected way. That is, if it is being used to resolve a query on a laptop, it can continue to be used for the same query from the smartphone, continuing the conversation from where it left off.

During the meeting, the company focused on the latest additions to the ThinkPad, ThinkBook, ThinkCentre professional families and its ecosystem of smart accessories.

In this sense, he highlighted the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, the new generation of the company’s flagship ultralight laptop that, being made with a carbon fiber chassis, takes its lightness and ultra-resistant chassis to the extreme, combining it with high performance powered by Intel and with the company’s latest innovations in security and connectivity.

For his part, the ThinkPad X1 Fold He is another of the protagonists. In this case, Lenovo has highlighted its 16-inch foldable OLED screen, which opens up new possibilities of use both for creativity, in unfolded tablet format, and for a compact laptop.

Likewise, the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition It is the laptop designed for “the most demanding professionals”, as the company has clarified. In a milled aluminum body and with PC Copilot+ capabilities, it combines the power of Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors with an Intel Arc GPU and up to 64 GB of RAM for the most intensive workflows, guaranteeing all-day autonomy with its 88Wh battery.

This laptop has a 15.3-inch OLED screen at 120Hz and a resolution of 2.8K. With this, the company ensures the ability to display professional color, in addition to having the “largest” haptic touchpad in the ThinkPad range.

OPTIONS FOR ALL FACETS OF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

In addition to the new ThinkPad X1Lenovo has also made reference to other work environment products that offer power and mobility, such as its flagship ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and P16s Gen 5 laptops, which feature Intel and AMD processors and offer performance suitable for demanding tasks anywhere.
