Apple releases AirPods Max 2 with better noise protection, priced at 15 million VND

Apple introduces new AirPods Max 2 headphones, upgraded H2 chip for better noise cancellation, clearer sound and priced at 15 million VND.

On the evening of March 16, Apple introduced a major upgraded version of its AirPods Max headphones after 6 years. This version has many improvements in sound quality, noise cancellation capabilities as well as some new features. In 2024, the company will only launch a new version with the only change being changing from lightning port to USB-C to unify the connection port with remaining devices such as iPhone and Mac.

The new version has no changes in appearance, still using the aluminum case and ear cushions that are highly appreciated for their comfortable wearing experience from the previous generation. The most important upgrade lies in being equipped with a completely new H2 chip, allowing for significant improvements in sound processing algorithms and active noise cancellation 1.5 times more effective than the previous generation.

In addition to noise cancellation, Transparency mode is also introduced so that environmental sounds can be heard more naturally as if you were not wearing headphones. The higher dynamic range amplifier also helps the new product deliver “clarer sound”, Apple’s Spa audio content. Audio latency is also significantly reduced compared to the previous generation, although the company did not provide a specific comparison level.

In terms of features, AirPods Max 2 users can also use the Digital Crown button to take photos, start or stop video recording remotely, when used with Apple’s camera application or third-party camera applications compatible with iPhone and iPad.

Other features are also added similar to the AirPods Pro line such as adaptive audio, automatic conversation recognition, voice isolation, and live translation.

AirPods Max 2 costs 15 million VND, available for ordering from March 25 in the US market and delivery from early April.
