New Reality has appointed Shalini Aggarwal, a former Google AI executive, as a senior strategic consultant

The Israeli start-up company NeuReality, a pioneer in the field of AI infrastructure, announced the joining of Shalini Agarwal as a senior strategic consultant to the company. Aggarwal brings with her over 16 years of experience in developing and leading AI products at scale, used by millions of users worldwide. During her time at Google, she led key product initiatives in Google Cloud and Google Workspace, including the launch of Generative AI capabilities through Gemini integration in products such as Gmail, Docs, Slides and Sheets.

Earlier, Aggarwal led the product field in a groundbreaking venture in the field of conversational AI as part of Google’s Area 120 incubator, a venture that was later integrated into Google Cloud AI. She started her career at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory where she was a partner in the early developments of AI systems at scale.

In her role, Shalini will work closely with NeuReality management on product strategy as the company continues to expand NR-NEXUS for organizations running AI at scale. NR-NEXUS is a hardware agnostic platform that unifies AI inference processes across CPUs, GPUs and network infrastructures, while optimizing end-to-end information flows, the token economy and service level goals (SLA) alongside improving resource utilization and reducing the costs of providing AI services.

The new challenge: not only to build AI, but to run it

The appointment comes at a critical point in time when the world of AI moves from the experimental phase to the implementation phase, organizations find themselves managing a complex set of diverse APIs and infrastructure models. The main challenge today is not in the development of models, but in their operation at scale – orchestration, management and effective implementation. To address this gap, Newreality launched NR-NEXUS, a platform that enables AI services to be deployed and run in heterogeneous environments efficiently and economically, while reducing operational complexity and focusing on creating business value.
