“From window number three you can see the sickle-shaped Earth, with sunlight glinting off the sea and clouds swirling. The view is truly unique,” reports Wiseman.

Nasa said early Sunday morning that two-thirds of the journey to the Moon has already been completed.

The Orion crew will not land on the surface of the Moon. The ship orbits the Moon, after which it returns to Earth. The trip is supposed to take a total of ten days.
