Henfling pointed out that NASA is still seeking to identify the causes of the bathroom blockage, which will be determined after the crew’s splashdown next Friday, but he announced that it could be a “chemical reaction” of the substances.

“Normally, when you have four crew members using it throughout the day, you have to do one maintenance activity a day”, he expressed.

Its 10-day mission seeks to lay the groundwork for a U.S. base on the Moon and future human exploration of Mars.
