Google launches interactive 3D models on Gemini

The potential of the system is manifested particularly effectively in the visualization of complex scientific concepts. When asked about the orbital movement of the Moon around the Earth, the software is able to generate a three-dimensional system where the user can adjust the speed of the motion, hide or show the lines of the orbits and act on the playback controls to analyze individual frames.

The integration of these graphic capabilities is part of a phase of competitive acceleration among the main artificial intelligence laboratories. In fact, Google’s announcement follows by a few weeks the innovations introduced by Anthropic with Claude, capable of generating interactive diagrams and graphs, and by OpenAI, which has enhanced ChatGPT with tools for the visualization of mathematical and scientific concepts. The function is currently available for all users of the Gemini app who use the Pro model: to activate it, simply request the display of a specific phenomenon and select the dedicated command that appears under the response generated by the system.
