PlayStation follows Xbox and completes integration with X (Twitter)

PlayStation has announced that, as of the day November 13, the integration service with X will cease (old Twitter) on their consoles, regarding what the owner of the social network, Elon Musk has indicated that he will investigate the reasons.

The video game company Xbox already made the decision to disconnect X from its service in April this year, as detailed through a publication in which they explained that they “had” to disable the ability to share game loads on the social network from the console.

Now, PlayStation has determined that the Next Monday, November 13, it will stop offering service for X on its PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles so users will no longer have access to any content published on X from their gaming devices and will not be able to publish on said social network from their consoles.

As detailed by the video game developer in a notification on its Support website, users they will lose power use features such as the ability to publish content, trophies and “other game-related activities on X.”

In this framework, it has pronounced by the owner of the social network X, Elon Musk, who has implied that will investigate the reasons for which two of the main console platforms have ceased the service to integrate the ‘app’.

As stated through a publication in X, Musk has indicated that he is going to “look” at this issue in response to X News Daily’s post about ending X’s integration into Playstation.
