Rome, 23 May. It was a particularly strong fourth quarter for the Lenovo group which between January and March recorded revenues increasing by 10% to 13.8 billion dollars, a net profit that doubled on an annual basis to 248 million dollars and a mix of revenues non-PC which reached an all-time high of 45%. Thanks to these results which – comments the president and CEO Yuanqing Yang – “clearly demonstrate that not only have we resumed growth in all our activities, but that we are in an acceleration phase, driven by the opportunities offered by hybrid AI” the group saw revenue for the full 2023/2024 fiscal year rise to $56.9 billion with net profit at $1 billion.

And for the future, Lenovo aims to seize the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence with completely re-engineered devices with chips designed to make the most of AI applications. This is the case of the Snapdragon Thanks to a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, Qualcomm Adreno GPU and a dedicated Hexagon NPU (neural processing unit), the new notebooks offer extraordinary performance per watt with processing capable of reaching up to 45 trillion operations per second. Furthermore, with the latest improvements from Microsoft and Copilot+, users can now access LLM (Large Language Model) features even offline with endless creative possibilities. By leveraging generative artificial intelligence and machine learning, Copilot+ helps compose texts, create images and simplify common productivity tasks.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, with a weight starting from 1.28 kg and a thickness of less than 13 mm, stands out for its ability to manage even complex tasks at speed, with great energy efficiency, which ultimately translates into autonomy of several days thanks to the 70 Wh battery. As for the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, it is Lenovo’s first next-generation commercial AI PC: equipped with up to 64GB of high-speed LPDDR5x memory and housed in an ultra-thin 14″ form factor with thin bezels, it is designed for professional users. The Yoga Slim 7x will be available starting in June with a starting price of 1599 euros (VAT included) while the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 will arrive in Italy in August with an expected starting price of 1769 euros (VAT excluded).
