Netflix will stop working on older Apple TVs on July 31

Netflix will no longer be compatible with Apple TV devices older in August, after it withdraws support on July 31, as it has already begun to notify users.

Currently, Netflix supports this device from the second generation Apple TV to the most recent, third generation Apple TV 4k Ultra HD. However, as of July 31 will remove support for older models.

In a note published in its Help Center, in the section ‘How to use Netflix on your Apple TV’, the company points out that second and third generation Apple TVs will no longer be compatible with the service. This information has also been transmitted to users with an email.
