77% of Spanish children would like to travel to space, according to a study

He 77 percent of Spanish children would like to travel to space and a good part of them would be interested in discovering new planets, stars, galaxies and even extraterrestrials, if they were given that opportunity, according to research.

LEGO Group has recently shared the results of a study on the occasion of the launch of new sets about space and with which it has made an approach to the interests of children around this topic.

Specifically, 88 percent of Spanish minors say they find interesting the planets, the stars and the galaxies, and even half recognize that would like to be an astronaut in the future, with more boys (59%) than girls (41%).

Likewise, 77 percent want to travel to space, 86 percent of them are interested in discovering new planets, stars and galaxies. This would not be the only thing that children would look for in space, since 68 percent of them believe that there are aliens and the majority of them (64%) would like to meet one.

Regarding the parents’ perspective, 76 percent strongly agree that the children of the alpha generation -those born since mid-2010- They are more likely to travel to space than previous generations. 75 percent of them, in fact, firmly believe that the children of this generation will see great space discoveries throughout their lives.
