Artificial intelligence everywhere: Google adds Gemini to all platforms

Google continues to attack artificial intelligence: Gmail will get more AI features that will make it easier for you to manage your electronic mail. The company is starting to roll out a new Gemini side panel that will be able to summarize email threads, draft new messages for you, and find messages that would be hard to find in standard search. The tool will also offer “proactive instructions” and the surfer will also be able to ask the artificial intelligence free questions.

Here and there: These improvements are useful, but will only be available to paid Gemini users: To enjoy the AI, you’ll need to be a Google Workspace customer with a Gemini Business or Enterprise add-on, a Gemini Education or Education Premium add-on, or a Google One AI Premium subscription.

Analysts have advised caution against fully relying on these tools for work given the fact that AI is not completely accurate. Therefore, even during the use of Gemini, you should carefully check the product. If, for example, you ordered Gemini to write an e-mail for you, verify its offer before you send Send because the answers you will receive from the artificial intelligence may sometimes be delusional.

Meanwhile, Google is launching Gemini features for the sidebar in the Drive, Docs and Slides apps. The selection did not specify Gemini’s capabilities in these applications, but relying on similar technologies on the web, it can be assumed that Gemini will be able to compose documents directly on the word processor, and build full presentations on command.
