The microblogging platform Threads, developed by Meta, has celebrated that it now has more than 175 million monthly active users, a figure that has been reached just one year after launching this application in countries like the United States and months after arriving in Europe.

At the time of its launch, Threads had very similar capabilities to its competitor, with text posts of up to 500 characters and the ability to share links, photos and videos of up to five minutes in length.
