Chrome will automatically block permissions granted to websites that have not been viewed recently on Android

Google Chrome has begun testing an option for Android devices what will remove permissions from websites that have not been visited recently,automatically revoking access to information such as geolocation or the device’s camera for increase security on the device.

The technology company offers different alternatives for website permissions, so that users can configure whether you want these sites to always have access to the camera, to the microphone, location, or notifications. These can be enabled temporarily or disabled completely.

However, now Google has started to try an additional option with which will block access to these permissions automatically,once a certain amount of time has passed without the user having accessed the website in question on which they were activated.

Thus, as he explained, this function has been found in the Google Chrome Canary version for Android and, furthermore, this is an option that was already available in the Desktop version of the browser.

Initially, users will be able to find this feature in the settings of an upcoming update. Google Chrome and, once activated, this will automatically remove the permissions granted to the websites that the user has not visited recently.
