Xiaomiis expanding its catalog of technological products with a new series of headphones. These are the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo, ear conduction headphones that promise to compete with the Huawei FreeClip.

This is a new design of hearing aids in the form of a rounded hook. These are placed on the outer part of the ears, without actually entering the ear canal.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted a blog post on X about the Chinese company’s new product. However, its release on the market has not yet been confirmed. According to the newspaper La Vanguardia, it would cost between 80 and 100 euros, or around 400 soles.

Among their features, it is noted that they are equipped with custom 17 x 12 millimeter drivers and DLC diaphragms. They are compatible with the LHDC codec and high-resolution audio and have 10-millimeter sound reduction, which would prevent sound from leaking.

They also have IP54 water resistance, with two microphones that reduce external noise during calls. Their battery promises to last 7.5 hours on a single charge.
