Tesla’s Cybertruck Coming to Fortnite and Rocket League

Epic Games and Psyonix recently announced a collaboration with Tesla, the famous electric car company. Starting Tuesday, July 23, players will be able to drive a Cybertruck in both Fortnite and Rocket League. The official Rocket League and Fortnite X accounts have been posting teasers to give players a preview of what to expect from the new partnership. As for Rocket League, it looks like this is a standard collaboration, similar to others in the past where real and fictional cars have been released as premium DLC.

The Fortnite collaboration, on the other hand, could be a surprise, given that the current season of the game is heavily tied to vehicle combat. While these announcements may seem completely random, both games teased the collaboration by posting a similar image of a tire track on white paint on their X/Twitter accounts. This isn’t the first time Epic Games has collaborated with real-world car companies. In Fortnite, players can already purchase a Ferrari 296, while in Rocket League, cars like the Aston Martin Valhalla, BMW, and more are available.
